Although, Relaxation is often portrayed as laziness, however it is essential for us to live our life to the fullest potential. 

There are many ways to help you relax and relaxation is important to improve your physical and mental health. Relaxation helps you to reduce and manage stress levels and boosts our moods.  

In addition, relaxation doesn’t only help your mind, but it helps improve our activeness and makes us more productive and strive for the best outcomes. Practicing relaxation is the key to managing stress. It helps us to be more level headed when it comes to stressful situations and pushes positive thinking. It is vital for our mind and body as stress can affect our lives in many ways which can lead to the extreme if not resolved/managed. 

Meditation 

Meditation is a great form of relaxation as it helps to unwind and manage stress as it calms your heart rate and you’re breathing. It can help you to centre yourself and focus on calming your mind and soul. Meditation triggers your relaxation response and helps you to understand the problem and rather than stress, discover ways to deal with it rather than let the issue take over.

However, exercise can help with stress and encourage you to think positive about yourself as exercising releases endorphins that make you feel good and trigger positivity.
